I’m Alex. I’m insatiably curious about technology and human behaviour. Learning what makes people tick and translating it into a working product is what gets me excited about UX. I like to harness my previous experiences and combine them with tried and tested user-centred methodologies to inform my design decisions. I would describe myself as a designer with a visual eye and a business brain.

Through teaching I developed communication skills and empathy. My years in business taught me to analyse, synthesise and present information. As a student of language I learned to appreciate patterns, rules and self-expression. I recently returned from DESIGNATION, a full-stack, immersive design programme in Chicago. All of these facets of my background help me design products which resonate with users.

When I need a break from the screen you can find me taking a game of 5-a-side way too seriously or eagerly counting down the days until the start of the next ski season.
